telling butch lesbians to “be ugly” when rejecting feminine beauty standards is nice but butchness is something that lesbians find beautiful and desirable so maybe instead of telling butches to accept that they are ugly in a het world tell them that they dont have to live in a world where they’re considered ugly. you dont have to accept being ugly bc you arent ugly to us.
are people who believe the word “straight” was created to “slur heterosexuals” somehow not aware of the extremely prevalent meaning of “straight” in the past to mean clean, proper, not on drugs, not involved in crime, not “bent” (used to mean gay), just a normal, respectable dude on a correct life path… like that’s what people meant when they said “he’s straight” before it became almost exclusively a sexual orientation term. they just meant he’s normal
however, I do think we as a community should come up with some terms to slur heterosexuals
all sagittarius people are funny its like theyre just so mean and so funny. god theyre the meanest people in the world but like its not dry humor its mean humor. like sometimes ill be like “ma u dont love me” and my sagittarius mom without skipping a beat will be like “ya” but she’ll say it with the biggest smile on her face. they don’t sugarcoat wait this is coming out to be a love letter to sagittarius’s whoops
