The
Midheaven, or Medium Coeli (MC), is
an imaginary point in the sky. It indicates the highest sign that was
transiting the visible sky at the time of birth. It is always opposite the Imum Coeli (IC), or Nadir, and this
opposition symbolizes the polarity between the public self, represented on the
MC, and the private self, on the IC.
The sign on
the MC is an instrument we can use to achieve our ideal of public success. It is
