naruto becomes hokage and like just by proxy sasuke eventually gets hokage level clearance too because everyone reluctantly accepts that narutos just gonna tell him every classified state secret and confidential operation going on anyways
sasuke: *wreaks havoc for almost all of part two, causes naruto so much grief, anxiety and pain, tries to kill naruto multiple times, insults and belittles naruto every chance he gets, belittles what naruto has gone through in order to make his situation seem worse so he can continue to justify his villainy*
gaara: *literally loves naruto so much* *changed and strived to be better bc naruto taught him that having friends wasnt a weakness* *goes to war for naruto* *says he would even kill sasuke if it means keeping naruto and the world safe*
naruto: *shrugs off gaara’s words, slaps gaaras hand away when gaara tries to comfort him* how could anyone threaten sasuke??
when naruto told orochimaru to not talk like he owned sasuke in front of him then went bijuu mode from pure rage and heartbreak alone > every other part of shippuden ! he really said keep my mans name out your mouth then almost beat his ass! orochimaru is lucky he had his dumb gates to protect him and narutos squad was actively trying to stop him and naruto was too angry and gay to focus his attacks and apply himself bc he wouldve been O V E R

something i was discussing last night: in the first arc of naruto, there’s the scene where naruto is talking to haku in the forest…And as haku walks away he says “by the way, i’m a boy.” and naruto is sitting there and he thinks to himself “no way! that boy is prettier than sakura!” and as he’s sitting there and thinking that, sasuke walks up and says “hey you missed breakfast.”
this means: naruto was thinking about how boys can be pretty exactly as he looked up at sasuke standing there and looking at him and being nice literally making sure that naruto is safe and ok and wondering where he was during breakfast.
this means: naruto definitely looked up at sasuke while he was considering that boys can be and sometimes are prettier than girls. He then proceeded to spend the entire day climbing trees with said known and verifiable pretty boy.
listen im just saying… better more valid plotline is naruto discovering the same horrible shit about konoha as sasuke and then of course going through his process about it but then also going missing nin as well.
and when he does that he obviously still has sasukes old headband… putting that headband on… leaving konoha to find sasuke….. the symbolism. the romance. the utter fuck you to militarized governments. muah
