something i was discussing last night: in the first arc of naruto, there’s the scene where naruto is talking to haku in the forest…And as haku walks away he says “by the way, i’m a boy.” and naruto is sitting there and he thinks to himself “no way! that boy is prettier than sakura!” and as he’s sitting there and thinking that, sasuke walks up and says “hey you missed breakfast.”
this means: naruto was thinking about how boys can be pretty exactly as he looked up at sasuke standing there and looking at him and being nice literally making sure that naruto is safe and ok and wondering where he was during breakfast.
this means: naruto definitely looked up at sasuke while he was considering that boys can be and sometimes are prettier than girls. He then proceeded to spend the entire day climbing trees with said known and verifiable pretty boy.
