when griffith and guts first meet at the fencing academy (and fight because griffith is always looking for a match) griffith already had his helmet on so guts has no idea what his opponent looks like………… then at the end after totally beating guts, griffith is like “whew!” and takes his helmet off to reveal his beauty and guts is stunned… my headcanon

as his status gets elevated griffith begins to take part in more activities limited normally to nobles, among them hunting, which means he now has several dogs to hunt with (and play with). guts thinks the whole thing is rather stupid, but he probably thinks this about most pursuits of the nobility.
