What’s your fav/least fave arc or chapter? Why?
my fav arcs are almost all the early ones & my least fav arcs are honestly a lot of the newer ones … i love the black butler arc, the red butler arc, the circus arc, and the phantomhive manor murders arc. i think i mostly hate all the others bc they’re so stupid, although shit is FINALLY picking up & i am so thankful for that
Favorite/least favorite characters?
my all-time fav is sebastian, but ofc i love ciel too, and his brother, grell & madam red, soma & agni, undertaker, snake, charles grey, a lot of the newer characters from like the public school arc are really sexy, and like blavat etc. you get it i have low standards. also love alois if we’re counting s2 of the anime
least favourite, lizzy, sieglinde, and hannah and claude. hate the fact that ciel has a fiance, but on top of that i find her really grating. i don’t like the little moe witch trope. and hannah and claude i feel are self-explanatory, they were just really fucking annoying. oh i also don’t like william bc he’s so violent towards grell

General thoughts/feelings about Kuroshitsuji.
i’m glad the story’s back on track bc the mystery and all the dark elements is why i got into this series … i don’t appreciate the moefication and excess of gags and current pop culture references. i prefer more old timey references like in the beginning of the manga–sherlock homes, jack the ripper, etc. but yeah, hopefully the ending won’t be disappointing. either way though this series will always have a special place in my heart.

the mystery and the dark elements, as i mentioned. i loooooove how all of its arcs are based around referencing really impactful past events of franchises, and i love the inherent tragedy of the story and that’s why it really hurts me that the past few arcs have been so lighthearted and jokey. but yeah things are picking up as i’ve said
