tokyo ghoul: re’s ending was as heterosexually bad as naruto’s
i don’t know her!
top 5 worst manga/anime endings besides naruto lol?
naruto, naruto, naruto, naruto & naruto
no jk lol um this is hard mostly bc i have really bad memory and so like 2 weeks after watching an anime/reading a manga i’ve already forgotten what it was about and how it ended. BUT there are some series that have left a permanent mark
like: nabari no ou (don’t talk to me), no.6 (don’t talk to me), pandora hearts (don’t fucking talk to me)
it’s not that these series have bad endings necessarily, it’s just that they scarred me for life
then there’s series like eva and devilman which also scarred me but in like a beautiful way so i don’t think those can be called “bad” endings in any meaning of the word
a bad ending is like. ok so this series isn’t as popular as the previous ones i mentioned, but, aku no hana? the entire second part of the manga? trash. the entire first part? absolute gold. so that was a betrayal
umm other than that, most of the bad anime endings are due to the anime cutting off while the manga continues, or due to the anime straying from the path of the manga and doing some original shit that ends up being bad. like uh i don’t really remember but i think umineko ends on a really bad cliffhanger, loveless also ends really weird, most people hate the ending of the kuroshitsuji anime etc. etc.
so i don’t really wanna count those bc it’s not necessarily the series’ fault, just the fault of the anime team. and i don’t read a lot of non-BL manga, so for a lot of popular series i can’t tell you if the manga endings were better than the anime ones
if we’re talking BL, i have beef with a LOT of titles, but most recently i’ve been reading a lot of manhwa and they all seem to have really bad, rushed endings that don’t resolve anything …….. e.g. at the end of the road, from points of three, make me bark, the baker on the 1st floor, and so on
and lastly there are a few manga series that i’ve been following for like a decade that seem like they’re gonna have unsatisfying endings, mainly berserk and loveless. i wanna stay optimistic about berserk right now but let me tell you i’ve lost all hope when it comes to loveless lol
so there u go … i tried my best to stick to what i think are popular titles but the issue is that for so many of them i’ve only watched the anime & i don’t feel it’s fair to judge the anime ending if you haven’t read the manga. i also really can’t remember what i’ve watched over the years and plus honestly whenever an anime seems like it’s going in a direction i hate, i just drop it. i straight up just drop it, i don’t even care. so yeah. anyone else have a better list lol?

Happy Birthday @ellessey-writes !
You’re a talented writer but mostly you’re a wonderful human being – this day is yours! All the love and wishes to you!
Sure you can guess where this is coming from…♥
Part 2 of Illustration I did for Thorki fan novel The Sun Mountain.
By the way in this novel Thor and Loki are not brothers, they are even not raised together. Loki was married to Thor as a prince from a rivalry country.
shared glances in the second film
it goes without saying at this point but griffith doesn’t look like anyone else with these genuinely happy/relieved looks (i mean obv it’s canon that he loves him … but still, the visual proof is painful)
